This FREE, in-person event is designed to ignite your faith, empower your spirit, and connect you with a community of like-minded women. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Audra Holt

Sister Audra Turner Holt is a native of Ashdown, Arkansas (just north of the Texarkana area) where she currently resides with her parents, sister and niece. Professionally she works remotely as the Administrator for the Gulf Coast Gastroenterology clinic and the Lake Jackson Endoscopy Surgery Center where she works with Dr. William Sweatt. She is also the Administrator for Pinecrest Retirement Lodge in Ashdown.

She has a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Sis. Holt has a broad background in computer repair, programming and networking but her passion is singing, teaching and
sharing the word of God.

Concerning her personal life, Sister Holt was happily married to her college sweetheart, Rodney, for over 14 years until his sudden death June 18, 2010. Since then Sister Holt has travelled extensively with her own ministry, focusing on marriage and relationships.

The Lord has tremendously blessed her with a unique testimony on how to have a healthy, happy and holy marriage based on biblical principles. With riveting delivery, she has been tremendously used by God to reach many souls for the kingdom.

 

Sandralee Mars

Sandralee  Perryman-Mars was recently elected to serve as the English Women's Ministries Coordinator for the Texas conference of Seventh Day Adventist. 

She has served the Adventist church in many various departments, but she has a special love for  Women's Ministries and has served here the past two decades. 

Sandy has been married for the past thirty-three years to husband Averell Mars and together they have two young adult children daughter, Kiki and son Jay.

Sandy desires to  empower women to reach their GOD created purpose. As such, one of her devotionals was published in the 2020 General Conference's Women's Ministries devotional book entitled "Iam loved" . These devotionals books help to raise funds for young women to attend college. Her devotionals can also be found on the Texas conference Women's Ministries Facebook page. 

She has worked as a prayer coordinator at many retreats throughout Texas and has been a Leadership Certification training instructor for the Texas conference for Women's Ministries. 

As a missionary, she has spoken and sang in Trinidad and Tobago, the US Virgin Islands, the UK and India. She is passionate about evangelism and wants everyone to know that JESUS died to save them!

Since becoming the English Women's Ministries Coordinator she now hosts a quarterly program entitled "A Priceless Love Story" featuring women of the Texas conference on a range of topics pertaining to women on YouTube. 

Sandy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, traveling, and decorating and hosting get togethers. However, all Sandy really wants to be known as, "The girl who really, loves  JESUS CHRIST!"

 

Kennetia Brooks 

Kennetia Brooks is a Christian, unapologetically so. She is also a transformational leadership strategist and is the author of a best-selling book on building effective teams and successful leaders. She teaches others how to take challenges by the reigns, co-author plans with God, and create solutions designed with His guidance and society’s resources. She has been a speaker and workshop presenter for the past decade at Women’s, Family, and Prayer Ministries’ programs, conventions, and retreats. She has presented to denominations across faiths and written articles for religious and healthcare magazines. As a leadership strategist, she has also spoken at universities, corporations, and numerous leadership conventions and summits across the US and outside the country.  

At the core, Kennetia is a daughter of the Almighty God, and she relishes opportunities to remind others that they are also the children of a Mighty King! She believes in the power of prayer, daily wearing the Armor of God, and sharing testimonies to strengthen and encourage one another. She believes that ‘Our priority partnership in life belongs to God.’ One of her favorite ministry topics is sharing with others that there is always a way _ The Way, and there is always clarity _ in The Truth, and there is always guidance _from The Light.  

Kennetia lives in Texas with her husband, Elder Stephen Brooks, the Executive Secretary of the Southwest Union of Seventh-Day Adventists.  

 

Miriam Feese

Miriam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California, graduate of University of Michigan School of Social Work with a Master’s in Social Work. She is currently employed remotely as a counselor at Stallant Health clinic, a Seventh-day Adventist run Rural Health Center in Northern California. She has experience in individual counseling (depression, anxiety, trauma, co-dependency, parenting, conflict resolution, and other relationship and spiritual issues) and couple’s and family counseling.  Her approach addresses the whole person (physical, mental, and spiritual) and follows evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy. 

She recently moved to Bryan, TX with her husband, Berquin, and 12 month old son, Barnabas. She currently enjoys spending most her days serving in the role of mother and wife.
